Stadiums Queensland (SQ) has successfully been accredited as a Certified Customer Service Organisation under the International Customer Service Standard.

This certification follows an organisational focus on customer service which includes the roll out of an internal customer service program, Shine, and Sunflower programs across the organisation’s venues.

The assessment process, which included significant input from multiple touchpoints across the organisation, measured how SQ’s strategy, structure, systems, people and processes contribute to customer success and overall organisation performance.

SQ Executive General Manager, Venues Mirella Taylor said the certification is recognition of the collective efforts across SQ.

“Customers are at the heart of we do. We strive to provide amazing experiences every step of the customer journey and this is a key consideration for every part of our business, from the way we design a venue to the way our customer service staff interact with fans on event day,” Ms Taylor said.

“Providing a great customer experience isn’t just down to one person or team, it relies on everyone doing their part and this certification is a reflection of the efforts of the entire organisation.”

Customer Service Institute of Australia (CSIA) Director Sam Blaxland commended SQ on the exciting achievement.

“This certification reflects the great efforts being made at Stadiums Queensland since the commencement of its customer service journey,” Mr Blaxland said.

“We would like to extend our congratulations to Stadiums Queensland on this fantastic achievement!”

Stadiums Queensland owns nine venues across its diverse portfolio throughout Queensland including The Gabba, Cbus Super Stadium, Suncorp Stadium, QSAC, Sleeman Sports Complex, Queensland Country Bank Stadium, Queensland Tennis Centre, Brisbane Entertainment Centre, and People First Stadium.
