Suncorp Stadium and Queensland Country Bank Stadium matches announced for Rugby World Cup 2027

The highly anticipated full match schedule has been released for the Rugby World Cup 2027 (RWC 2027) with Suncorp Stadium and Queensland Country Bank Stadium set to host Queensland’s blockbuster match ups.

RWC 2027 will be the biggest in history with an expanded pool of 24 nations competing across 52 matches in seven host cities, making it the third largest sporting event in the world.

Suncorp Stadium will be a major venue hosting 10 matches including six pool matches, two round-of-16 fixtures and two quarter-finals.

Fans in Brisbane will be treated to a star-studded lineup featuring top seeds including England, Argentina, France, and reigning world champions South Africa.

The  matches at Suncorp Stadium will be:

  • England V Tonga - Saturday 2 October
  • Argentina V Canada - Monday 4 October
  • France V Japan - Saturday 9 October
  • South Africa V Georgia - Sunday 10 October
  • Australia V Chile - Satuday 16 October 
  • Scotland V Portugal - Sunday 17 October
  • Round of 16 - Saturday 23 October
  • Round of 16 - Sunday 24 October
  • Quarter-final - Saturday 30 October
  • Quarter-final - Sunday 31 October

Marking their Rugby World Cup debut, Queensland Country Bank Stadium will host four pool matches over three weekends, offering fans a unique blend of fierce competition and festival energy. The matches are:

  • Georgia V Romania - Sunday 3 October
  • Chile V Hong Kong China - Satuday 9 October
  • Tonga V Zimbabwe - Friday 15 October
  • Spain V Canada - Saturday 16 October

Both host cities will feature weekends where they stage two matches, creating a vibrant, festival‑like atmosphere that showcases the scale, energy and diversity of the tournament.

First tickets going on sale Wednesday 18 February.
