Public consultation to inform the future of concerts and special events at Suncorp Stadium, People First Stadium and Cbus Super Stadium is now open!
The Department of Sport, Racing, And Olympic and Paralympic Games is seeking feedback related to the management of special events at the venues, including concert arrangements, event operations and other conditions that support the safe and effective delivery of events.
Community consultation on finishing times, noise measurement and reporting requirements at Suncorp Stadium will contribute to the review of the temporary increase in the concert cap at Suncorp Stadium to 21 concerts in 2026, to help inform future decisions.
For People First Stadium and Cbus Super Stadium, The Department is seeking stakeholder and broader community feedback on noise, transport, curfews and other regulatory conditions to help inform the future of content at the venues including concerts.
The Department is welcoming input to the consultation process via surveys for each venue, Suncorp Stadium, People First Stadium and Cbus Super Stadium, or via written submission to Department by 11:59pm on Tuesday 6 October 2026.
