This World Facilities Management Day (13 May) we’re shining a spotlight on SQ’s behind-the-scenes teams who play a vital role in helping to keep our venues safe, well-presented, and operational, 365 days of the year.
The in-house Facilities Management teams at SQ venues oversee day-to-day management of buildings, services and systems such as security, condition-based maintenance, energy management, building compliance and strategic planning around the use of venue spaces.
Stadiums Queensland General Manager, Facilities, Christopher Puccini said the work of our facilities management teams is vital to the ongoing success of SQ venues.
“Without our facilities management teams, our venues would simply cease to function and become non-compliant, virtually overnight,” Mr Puccini said.
“Often a hidden, back-of-house function, our Facilities Management teams employ their technical and operational knowledge on a daily basis to maintain and enhance our facilities in order to keep them at a world class level for the benefit of all Queenslanders.”
Stadiums Queensland is a proud member of the Facilities Management Association of Australia.
Thank you to our Facilities Management teams for keeping the our venues world class!
