Event Day Staff

The Gabba has hosted major sporting fixtures since 1895 and is home to the Brisbane Lions, Queensland Bulls and Brisbane Heat.
 
We are currently recruiting for Ushers and Gate Attendants to assist with delivering successful events that are staged at The Gabba.
 
This is a seasonal event-based role, and applicants should be available to work flexible rosters, which include day and night shifts. Weekend work will be required.

Other important information:

• Casual work

• Shifts are a minimum of 4 hours.

• The hourly rate is minimum $27.46.

• Rosters for events are published approximately 14 business days prior to an event. Employees are required to submit their availability prior to this time.

Applicants who possess a proactive, friendly and customer service approach who have a passion for events are encouraged to apply.
 
Successful applicants will be required to attend a mandatory training session which be held on Thursday, November 2nd from 3pm- 8pm and Saturday, November 11th from 8am – 1pm, attendance is only required at one (1) session.

1. Do you have customer service experience? (Yes or No)

2. If successful, will you be able to attend one of the ‘Induction & Pre-Cricket Training’ sessions hosted on Thursday, November 2nd from 3:00pm- 8pm or Saturday, November 11th from 8:00am – 1pm? (Option to RSVP to one)

3. Are you available for majority of the event days advertised in 2023/2024 Gabba Event Calendar Cricket Season (December 7th & 27th, January 1st, 7th, 10th and 25th - 29th)? (Yes or No)
